1. Maximise Image Quality :: The higher the resolution the better the picture. :: Always select the maximum photo size and quality offered. :: For photo printing purposes choose TIFF. TIFF images are smoother and crisper when printed compared to JPEG. 2. Prepare your Printer :: The higher your printer's dots per inch (dpi ) the better the print quality. :: Use a printer at 600x600 dpi or higher when producing hard copies of colour digital photos. :: The higher the colour printing resolution and the greater dpi setting the better the print quality. :: Different types of paper require different amounts of ink. Adjust your printer preferences accordingly. |
3. Pick the right Paper and Ink Photo paper :: Standard paper isn't suitable for creating high quality photo prints. :: Choose glossy or matte finish photo paper. :: Multiple varieties of paper stock are available. Choose the best paper for your particular purpose. Fresh Paper Guidelines :: Fresh Paper 260gsm - Hi Gloss Professional (Weddings & Portraits) :: Fresh Paper 180gsm - Gloss Occasions (Family Photos, Special Occasions) :: Fresh Paper 145gsm - Gloss Everyday Ink Always make sure you give the ink plenty of time to dry before framing or placing in an album. Choose Fresh Ink and Fresh Paper for a high quality photo finish. |
